About CTAI

At CTAI, our goal is to provide responsive, state-of-the-art administrative services for the establishment and ongoing operations of charitable trusts. We work with individuals and non-profit organizations, and also consult to professionals in the legal, accounting, insurance and investment management fields.

CTAI began as an outgrowth of the CPA/Financial Planning practice of Charles J. McLucas, Jr. Mr. McLucas has been providing charitable trust analysis and tax services to his clients since 1970. He has written a number of articles on charitable trusts for The Personal Financial Planning Magazine, and has spoken on related topics at several national CPA conferences.

Tax laws, and tax planning, require a particularly specialized focus. Mr. McLucas established CTAI in 1995 to work exclusively with charitable trusts. We provide consultations, educational materials, gift proposals, document reporting assistance and tax filings. The arena of planned giving presents unique challenges for non-profits. We can assist with technical or practical questions, and we work with organizations to help ensure that donors feel confident about the-term management of their charitable trusts and other planned gifts. We, together with our professional affiliates, are always available to clients to provide solutions to their charitable giving and tax planning needs.

With our knowledge, expertise and sensitivity to client needs, CTAI is uniquely positioned to help you devise and carry out a charitable giving program or instrument that will meet your objectives—for posterity.
